About Us

Dr. Stephanie Curts is a graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. She was raised in Brownsburg, graduated from Brownsburg High School and continues to reside in Brownsburg with her husband, Matt and their four kids. She began her collegiate education at Butler University before obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree at IU in 2003 and beginning her career at Bogan Eyecare Center. Dr. Curts enjoys providing complete family eye care from InfantSee assessments to refractive care and ocular disease management. Her favorite part of day to day practice is getting to know the families she cares for. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association and InfantSee program. Dr Curts enjoys running, traveling, scrapbooking, camping and anything that allows her to spend time with her family.

Dr. Christina Streff was born and raised in Indiana. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018 from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is happy to be living in her hometown with her husband and two daughters. She aims to provide thorough and exceptional eye care to patients of all ages. Dr. Streff’s experience is focused in managing dry eye, ocular disease, and family eye care. In addition, she is bilingual and provides comprehensive eye exams in both English and Spanish. Dr. Streff and her family love being outdoors, going on bike rides, trying new restaurants, and traveling whenever they have the opportunity.

Dr. Brittany Foerg hails from northwest Indiana and graduated from Pioneer High School. While attending Butler University for undergraduate studies, she coordinated service-learning for fellow BU students at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. In 2017, she graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry with high honors. Since then, Dr. Foerg has been practicing in central Indiana and is now very excited to serve the Brownsburg community. Dr. Foerg welcomes patients of all ages. Her special interests include perioperative care, fitting specialty contact lenses, and managing ocular disease. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association. Dr. Foerg resides in Zionsville with her husband and son. In her spare time, she loves gardening, riding her bicycle on the many beautiful Indiana rail trails, and kayaking on the Tippecanoe river with family.

Dr. David Bogan began our practice in 1982 and retired in October 2020. We credit him with the excellent reputation you have come to know our practice for. We strive to maintain that same excellent care his patients received during his 38 years. We are honored to carry on Dr. Bogan’s name and are excited for his ability to enjoy his next stage of life in retirement.

Kristy has been with the practice since May 2009.  She is our Office Manager, Optician and contact lenses guru.  Kristy graduated from Speedway High School (Go Plugs!) and never seems to forget a name or face. She has been in Brownsburg for the past 16 years and has two children. Kristy enjoys vacations on the beach and attending her daughter’s dance competitions. We love her cheerful attitude and her passion to help patients in any capacity she can.

Crystal has been with the practice since January 2018. Crystal serves as our Billing
and Insurance Specialist. Crystal is originally from Colorado and moved to Brownsburg in 2008. She is married to her husband Nick and has 3 children. You may see Crystal cruising around in her Jeep but she has many interests such as baking, reading, CrossFit and especially animals. She currently has 3 dogs, 3 cats and 5 rabbits.

Brittany has been with the practice since July 2021. She serves as an Optician Optometric Technician. Brittany is always willing to step up and help where needed. Brittany is a graduate of Speedway High School and has a young son. She enjoys hiking, binge watching Netflix and spending time with her family. Brittany’s ultimate goal is to work as a Clinical Social Worker where she can continue working hands on with patients.

Kris has been with the practice since August 2021.  Kris has been an ABO Certified Optician since 1994 and has been doing all things glasses related for over 30 years. She is married to her husband Putter and has 1 teenage daughter as well as two fur kids, George and Mabel. Kris enjoys camping, golfing and attending her daughter’s sporting events.

Magen has been with the practice since 2018. She works as one of our Opticians. Magen is originally from California and is married to her husband Joe and they share two children, two dogs and a hamster. Magen enjoys spending time with friends and taking family trips to new places.

Stephanie is an Optometric Technician in the practice and has been with us since March 2021. Stephanie has lived all over the country as a military spouse.  She has been married to her husband Pete since 2009 and they have 2 sons. When Stephanie is not running her two sons to practices or school you can find her teaching Pilates at Inner Balance Studio or running with her friends.

Jenna began with the practice in August 2021 and serves as an Ophthalmic Technician. Jenna is from Avon and is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. She was a gymnast for 14 years and now coaches a level 2 team. Outside of work Jenna enjoys CrossFit and going to as many IndyCar races as possible. She even writes a blog about IndyCar.

Madison serves as an Optometric Technician with the practice. Madison is a Brownsburg High School graduate. She is currently a student at Indiana University and is eager to work with us on her breaks from school.  She is considering pursuing Optometry or something in the medical field in the future. In her free time Madison enjoys reading and watching movies.

Caroline started at the practice in September 2021 as a front desk patient coordinator. She graduated from Taylor University with a Christian Ministries Degree in 2019. Caroline and her husband, Matthew, grew up in Brownsburg and recently moved to the Indy area. Caroline loves to help out in any way that she can and tries to be a source of encouragement to everyone she encounters. Caroline loves spending quality time with her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys singing (sometimes unconsciously out loud), reading, hiking, watching The Office and drinking coffee.

Christine first joined the practice in 2017. She works as one of our Opticians. After living over 30 years in Brownsburg, she left in 2020 to retire, travel and settle in Florida. She recently returned to Indiana and again joined the office as one of our front desk patient coordinators. She and her husband have 3 adult children and her dog, Mika. She loves greeting and making patients feel welcome when they step inside the office. She enjoys spending time with her kids, her dog, reading and riding the motorcycle with her husband.
